Frequently Asked Questions
How does this walking tour work?
Open DC Audio Tours in your browser, unlock the tour, and start at the listed Metro station. The stops are grouped by neighborhood so you walk from one to the next instead of riding the Metro — the audio narration plays as you go, and the first stop is free to try.
How much walking is involved?
These tours are designed to keep you on foot in one area, so you spend your time seeing things rather than travelling. Most stops are a short walk apart; the page lists each one with its nearest Metro station and walking time.
Do I need to buy tickets to the sights?
The tour itself is a one-time $3.99 audio guide. Many DC sights — the Smithsonian museums, the memorials, and most outdoor stops — are free. A few venues charge their own admission; the narration notes which ones.
Can I do the tour at my own pace?
Yes. There is no fixed start time and no group. Begin whenever you like, pause for lunch or a museum, and pick the tour back up — your progress is saved on your device.
Is there a refund if I change my mind?
Tours are one-time purchases and all sales are final, but if something goes wrong email customerservice@fettink.com and we will make it right.
